Find Partners for your Budget.
Lesson Summary
Cybersecurity is emphasized as a collaborative effort involving multiple entities:
- A good cybersecurity strategy involves team work and should not be solely reliant on one individual in the company.
- Typically, there are at least five different supporters involved in cybersecurity.
- It is essential to ensure that your team is aligned with your company's goals and understands the business strategy, needs, and budget to avoid misunderstandings.
Everyone should be on the same page - especially when a worst case scenario becomes reality.

Cybersecurity is a total team
sport.
So whenever you have the
feeling there's just one
person responsible in our
company, then you don't have
a good strategy and you
didn't implement it properly
because you normally have at
least five different
supporters, software
companies, IT providers,
forensics teams for the worst
case, at least at hand, not
maybe on a regular basis, but
you know who to call in a
worst case.
We're also going through the
whole list and that course
later on.
But make sure that your team
works for your company and
that it's aligned, that
everybody understands your
business strategy, your needs
and your budget so you don't
have any misunderstandings on
the way or in the worst case,
in the worst case.
